Are you aware of the choking warning on Cadbury mini eggs.?

Warning to parents of children choking on Cadbury mini-eggs.

A first aid worker has re-issued a choke warning as the mini-eggs begin to appear in shops ahead of Easter. She says  some parents are not aware that the eggs should not be given to children under four, and thinks they could  also be a danger to older children.

They are very similar to grapes which children can easily choke on. Children’s grapes should always be cut in half.

Warning on packets.

There is a clear and explicit warning on the back of Cadbury mini-egg packets. It says: ‘Choking Hazard. This product is not suitable for children under 4.’

Always check the warning on sweets before giving them to your children.
