All new parents know they will get plenty of sleepless nights with a newborn baby but, according to a new study, even after six years they still miss out on sleep.
First time mothers lose 22 minutes of sleep a night.
According to reports, first time mothers are deprived of 22 minutes of sleep a night but in the first three months this peaked to 62 minutes. The bad news is that this continues even after their child has started school. Fathers will lose 14 minutes of sleep.
Just as most mothers realise.
Women are far more sleep deprived than men because mothers do more of the child rearing.
