Market in heart of Grimsby town centre to host local artist in residence
Local artist Graham Firth has taken up residency in Grimsby Top Town Market creating a piece of art to be exhibited at the Devonshire House entrance of the market later this year.
Graham will be attending the market weekly, capturing the Market, the traders and customers to create an exhibition which will encompass the life and soul of the market.
Graham’s residency is part of Art in the Market, a project based in the market until June 2020 in partnership with Arts Council England and Our Big Picture aiming to bring more art into public spaces.
