Men’s beards are dirtier than dogs.
Alarming news a study has found that every sampled beard was crawling with bacteria. Nearly half had bugs that were hazardous to human health. Some of the dogs they tested had lower levels of microbes.
Men are furious and they are claiming that the results come from pogonophobia (the irrational fear of beards)
Researchers took swabs 18 men’s beards and swabs from 30 dogs and compared the results. A professor from the Swiss clinic said researchers found the bacterial load from specimens from the men’s beards were significantly higher, compared with that from dogs fur.
Seven of the men were found to harbor microbes that posed a threat to human health. Going on the results of these findings dogs can be considered as clean as bearded men.
