Weathermen are predicting another scorching Bank Holiday weekend.

The weather is expected to warm up for the May Day break. After the lovely weather at Easter weekend, which then was followed by days of cold weather and then Storm Hannah. Forecasters are predicting that the temperature is set to rise by next Sunday and Monday.

The warmer weather is thanks to a 900-mile wide plume of warm air coming our way from Spain. Some of the forecasts are predicting a high temperature of 26C at the weekend.

There could be a less likely scenario of it not being quite as warm. But if that happens dry and pleasant conditions will still be expected due to high pressure.

According to some weather forecasts the UK is to bask in a three-month heatwave.

Let us hope the weathermen are right and the sun will fetch out the crowds in Cleethorpes once again during the May Bank Holiday weekend.
