Woman’s severed foot could belong to missing teenager.

Investigators looking for 19-year-old Leah Croucher from Milton Keynes have confirmed that they are considering if a woman’s severed foot that was discovered on a footpath in New Waltham could belong to her. The human foot matches her height and age.

The team searching for the 19-year-old are keeping an open mind as to whether the foot could belong to her. She disappeared when walking to work on Buzzacott Lane, Furzton, Milton Keynes just after 8 am on February 15th.

Forensic experts examined the foot and say it is possible it belonged to a woman over the age of 16.  And is approximately 5 foot 2inches tall.  Leah Croucher was described as of slim build and 5 foot 2 inches tall.

Pathologists indicated that the foot is likely to have been deliberately dismembered. They believe this happened in the last twelve months. Forensic specialists are continuing to assist with further examination of the foot and small section of the lower leg.

Despite emotional appeals from MS Croucher’s family and a £5,000 reward police have not found any trace of her since she disappeared.
