The European Election Results for the North and North East Lincolnshire.
More than half of the votes in the European Elections were won by the Brexit Party in North East Lincolnshire and almost half were won by the Brexit party in North Lincolnshire.
The final counting was held in Leeds on Sunday evening following the elections on Thursday.
Nigel Farage’s party received 51.9% of the vote in North East Lincolnshire. From a total of 32,567, his party received 16,895 votes.
The Brexit party won overall in the borough Labour was the second placed with 10.6% followed by conservatives with 9.9%. The Tories lost out to Labour who won 3,444 votes 220 more than the Tories.
The turn out was higher at 28.7 % in North East Lincolnshire than in the local elections when 27.7% turned out to vote. In North Lincolnshire, the Brexit Party won 47% of the votes from a total of 38,938 they received 18,308 votes. Labour received 4,882 votes and the Conservatives received 4,475 votes and the turn out was 31.4%

Although the vote in North and North East Lincolnshire will only form part of the wider ballot across the Yorkshire and Humber area it was still good news for the Brexit party.
There have been three Brexit Party candidates elected in the region one Labour MEP, one LibDem and one Green Party member.
They are Lucy Harris (Brexit Party), John Longworth (Brexit Party), Jake Pugh (Brexit Party), Richard Corbett(Lab), Shaffaq Mohammed(Lib Dem), Magid Magid(Green Party).
