If you want to kill your boss today it’s perfectly normal.

If you have ever daydreamed on a bad day at work of pushing the boss down the stairs. You are not alone, more than half of us have done it and it’s perfectly normal.

Dr. Julia Shaw a Criminal psychologist said that thoughts of killing others were common and was an entirely human reaction. Momentarily wanting to murder someone could be a good thing, because it could stop us actually doing it.

According to research over half the people said they had fantasised about murdering someone. Main targets are your boss or ex-partner. But only one percent of the population is believed to be psychopaths and only a very tiny minority of psychopaths will go on to be violent or kill someone.

It is believed that murder fantasies are an exercise of empathy. You think about it and then imagine the consequences if you went through with it. And you then decide you don’t want to do that because the consequences are not what you would like.
