Stallingborough Road closure from Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 June

WORKS will start this week to provide a new site entrance to the Quintessential development in Healing.

A new road will be created to access the development directly from Stallingborough Road to reduce the amount of traffic travelling through the residential area of Larkspur Avenue.

To allow these works to take place there will be a temporary road closure on Stallingborough Road, from Hornbeam Drive to the A1173 Stallingborough roundabout from Tuesday 11 June to Friday 14 June.

The works are being carried out by the housing developer Cyden Homes which has worked with Stagecoach to offer a temporary shuttle bus service for the village during the closure.

Temporary bus arrangements

Bus users travelling from Healing to Grimsby should board the shuttle bus at the Healing bus stop on Low Road which will take them to the connection point at Great Coates (opposite the church). They can then catch the Stagecoach service to Grimsby town.

Bus users travelling from Immingham to Healing should board the Stagecoach service bus at their usual stop in Immingham, which will take them to the connection point at Great Coates (outside the church). The shuttle bus will take them into Healing village.

The reverse applies on both routes for return journeys, no additional fares will be charged on the shuttle bus, and this arrangement will run at the usual bus times.

The team has also been working with schools in Healing to support parents to ensure their children can safely travel to school during these works.

Advance warning signs will be erected on site and the diversion route for motorists will be signposted.
