By Nunsthorpe Recreation Ground will be the location for the MP’s annual community event, inspired by the late Jo Cox MP.
Great Grimsby MP Melanie Onn will host her annual Great Get Together event tomorrow, at the Nunsthorpe Recreation Ground from 2pm until 5.30pm.
Activities will include Tai Chi and Bingo, Hattie the Community Bus – and special appearances from some of the animals from Nunny’s Farm.
Residents are encouraged to bring along a picnic to the event and there will be refreshments of tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake available.
The Great Get Together is an initiative inspired by Jo Cox, who was killed on 16 June 2016, and set up by Jo’s family and friends. The event in Great Grimsby aims to bring the community together in friendship and is just one of thousands that will be happening across the country over the next few days.
