Wardall Street car park resurfacing

As part of the regeneration project which is currently taking place in Cleethorpes, resurfacing works will be carried out to the Wardall Street car park starting on Tuesday 2 July.

While the works are being completed Wardall Street car park will be closed on a temporary basis from Tuesday 2 July for up to four days.

We will make every effort to complete these works as quickly as possible and would like to apologise in advance for any disruption caused by the car park closure.

If the work is completed earlier than scheduled we will reopen the car park as soon as possible. The car park will be reopened for the weekend.

Cllr John Fenty, Cabinet member for regeneration, said: “We have been working closely with residents and Sea View Street traders to make sure the works impact as little as possible. As part of this, we’ve managed to shorten the works by a day to make sure the car park is re-opened for the weekend.”

There are a number of alternative car parks available in Cleethorpes, please visit the council’s website where a full list can be found: www.nelincs.gov.uk/roads-parking-transport/parking

Works are progressing well on the £7.2m regeneration project in Cleethorpes which was developed by CoastNEL, a local group with representation from a wide range of local businesses and the community, supported by the Council and ENGIE.
