A Beautiful Island in Greece is offering families £450 a month to live there.
Instead of a two week holiday. How about living on a picturesque Greek Island. The local council is offering £450 a month to new families to come and revive the island of Antikythira and become residents.
At present, the Island has only 20 inhabitants. It does not have as much going on as other Greek islands like Santorini or Rhodes.
The Island is between Crete and mainland Greece and only has one main shop and there is no regular boat supply for more products.
The locals mainly eat food grown on the island. But you can make a boat trip to Crete or mainland Greece if you want to stock up on supplies.
There are some very beautiful beaches, lovely swim friendly turquoise waters, a bird sanctuary, and some archaeological sites. It is an ideal spot for families who would like to be off the grid.
