A study has found that more than a million managers are stuck in a job they hate. The research showed that one in ten feels very demotivated, unfulfilled and trapped in their job.
Hopelessness feeling is worse for those over 40. Managers who worked in IT and telecoms had the highest level of dissatisfaction at 28%. The findings based were based on a survey of 1,000 UK workers, found that those who worked in the media and creative sectors were the happiest.
The survey was carried out for career transition firm Rutbusters. They believe that 10 percent of people hating their job in management is the norm among British organisations. Feelings of misery and being stuck were felt by one million managers and executives every day.
