A 45-year-old man from Grimsby has today been charged in connection with the death of Shaun Lyall in Cleethorpes last year.
Shaun (above) who was 47 was found dead at a house on Sidney Street on 17 July 2018.
Today Craig Whittle, 45, from Corporation Road in Grimsby has been charged with five offences including assisting an offender in relation to the death of Shaun Lyall in Cleethorpes.
He’s also been charged with affray, possession of a knife in a public place, and two counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply – namely heroin and cocaine.
These are in relation to an incident in Blackpool on 13 July 2018.
Craig Whittle is due before Grimsby Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Humberside Police are still looking for another suspect in connection with the murder of Mr Lyall. Extensive investigations have been ongoing for Abdi Ali who is now 29-years-old.
Abdi Ali (below) is originally from Somalia and has links to the Grimsby area, Sheffield, London, Lancashire, South Yorkshire, Merseyside, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Lincolnshire, and Cleveland.
