Men’s toilets have six times more germs than women’s because men are less likely than women to wash their hands after using the bathroom. Men could be putting other people at risk when they leave their germs behind.
A study at a large office building found that there were almost five times more bacteria on men’s bathroom doors than was on the average toilet seat and six times more bacteria than the women’s.
Only half of men think that not washing your hands after using the toilet is high risk, compared to two-thirds of women.
