Can you help Humberside Police with their enquiries about man making threats at a restaurant on Boulevard?

An incident has been reported to police where a man is alleged to have gone to a restaurant on Boulevard at around 1.20am on Sunday 21 July and started waving a metal pole around and then had a plastic bottle filled with fluid, thought to be petrol, and tissue paper that he had set alight.

He was threatening that he would throw the bottle at the front of the restaurant.  Fortunately a member of public disarmed the man and he left the area.

The incident was reported to police sometime after the event and they have now launched an investigation to find the man responsible for making threats to destroy property.

The man is described as around 60 years-old and was not wearing a top.

If you were the person who disarmed the man or if you saw this incident and have information that would help with their investigation they want to hear from you.  You can call on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 84 21/07/19.
