Seven arrests made during robbery investigation in Hull

Officers have arrested seven people on suspicion of a number of different offences while investigating a report of an alleged robbery and assault in Hull in the early hours of this morning.

We received a call around 3.45am today Thursday 1 August that a man had allegedly been robbed outside Paragon Station in the city centre.

He sustained minor injuries and had his wallet taken.

Two men were seen running away towards the Great Thornton Street area.

Officers attended quickly and found two suspects at a property on Pease Street and arrested both on suspicion of robbery, and one for burglary.

While at the property, two women and three men who were inside the address were arrested in connection with a number of offences including supplying a controlled drug, possessing a bladed weapon, possessing an offensive weapon, and theft.

All seven are currently in our custody.
