Children will bombard their parents with 2,310 questions during the summer break.

Over the six-week summer break according to a study carried out for TV show Daisy and Ollie parents can expect 55 queries a day from their children. Which are 2,310 questions parents will have to answer and that is per child.

The top question was “Why?” followed by “Are we there yet?” next was “ Why can’t I stop up late?” “Why do I have to go to school?” “Why do I need to eat vegetables?”

Up to 90% of parents admitted lying to their children when they asked tricky questions such as “What happens when you die?” or “Where do babies come from?”

When their children asked them who God was 17% of parents said it left them struggling to give an answer.

What questions that your children ask do you struggle to answer?
