Humberside Fire and Rescue team have confirmed a recycling centre in Scunthorpe is on fire.
They were called to site Ellgia Waste on Winterton Road at just after 9am this morning.
Humberside Fire and Rescue confirmed six engines were in attendance to combat the large fire.
Sources believe that they were called to attend a 75 tonne cardboard fire and that over 30 firefighters have been on site. Plant machinery is in use to break up and extinguish the blaze which is under control.
They confirmed that there is no risk to any residents or the public.
