Lane closure: A18

North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, will be carrying out routine maintenance works to the A18 on Monday 2 September for one day.

The routine works will be carried out under temporary lane closures between 9.30am and 3.30pm to avoid peak traffic times and to ensure the safety of road users and staff and contractors working on the highway.
The works will be carried out on the stretch of the A18 between the A46 and Riby Crossroads.

Works will be carried out jointly by ENGIE and NELC Neighbourhood Services to maximise the use of the lane closures allowing as much work to be completed as possible during this time to reduce disruption to motorists.

During the lane closures, the following works will be completed:

• Routine maintenance works including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed spraying, road sweeping and litter picking
• General verge repairs
• Drainage works

The road will remain open to traffic while the works are being carried out. Advanced warning signs will be in place.
North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, apologises for any inconvenience caused by the works.
