By As numerous enquiries have continued throughout the day as part of the investigation, a 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the attack on McDonalds in Laceby.
The man, who is currently in police custody, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and will be questioned by detectives.
Reports were received at around 4am this morning (Saturday, 31 August 2019) of the use of heavy machinery near to McDonalds on Hilmore Road.
A digger was found at the scene that appeared to have been used to attempt to break through a wall at the back of the premise.
