Cleethorpes jeweller has jewellery worn by Ed Sheeran, Kate Moss and Take That.
Daniella Draper who started her jewellery business in Cleethorpes now plans to set up shops in New York, London, and Saint Tropez in the South of France. She started with at a kitchen table with a £1,000 loan before opening her first shop in Cleethorpes.
When Kate Moss was seen in photographs wearing two arms full of Daniella’s bangles 10 years ago it set her on the road to success. In 2015 Ed Sheeran wore a bangle made by her at the Grammys for his duet with Beyonce. Other famous customers have included Ellie Goulding, Brooklyn Beckham, Chloe Grace Moretz and she created some exclusive pieces for Take That.
She now lives in the Lake District with her son and husband. With her family keeping the wheels turning while she has been nurturing her latest designs. She is planning pop up shops in New, York, St Tropez and the Ski resort of Verbier in Switzerland. In 2014 She opened her first boutique store in Cleethorpes and she now has four shops in Cleethorpes, Lincoln Beverley and Bowness and the business has grown thirty percent each year since it began. They had a four-month stint in Sloan Square London last year which was a success and may potentially look at a permanent store in London. Her mum remains the strategist behind the business and has been vital to the business. Her sister Holly is the face of the brand. She says when she is in Cleethorpes she notices people wearing her jewellery everywhere.
All the gold and silver is recycled and everything is made in the UK which is quite rare for jewellery brands because 95 percent of jewellery that is sold in the UK is made abroad.
