By Football coach Geoff Broome to face trial over child sex offence charges.
Yesterday Geoffrey Broome appeared at Grimsby Crown Court to face child sex offence charges.
Broome, 60, of Farebrother Street in Grimsby, worked as a coach to young footballers in the Grimsby and Scunthorpe areas for many years. The offences are alleged to have occurred between 1992 and 1995.
He denies indecently assaulting three boys (four offences of indecently assaulting one boy, three offences against another boy and one against a third boy).
All boys were all aged under 16 at the time.
He faces trial next year.
