By North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, are carrying out a repair to a section of the highways drain on the A18 from Monday 23 September.
The works will take place between the junction leading to North Thoresby to the borough boundary near Ludborough and will take two weeks to complete.
To ensure the safety of those completing the works, temporary traffic signals will be in place during off-peak times to reduce the impact to traffic, between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
The works are required to protect the embankment and carriageway from potential future failure.
