The Lorry driver in the incident on the A180 has sadly died.

It has been confirmed by Humberside Police that a man has died following the crash on the A180 yesterday afternoon.

The lorry overturned on the A180 yesterday afternoon. The accident happened as the lorry was travelling westbound between Great Coates and Stallingborough interchange the accident happened at around 4pm.

It is thought that the driver may have suffered a medical episode. The lorry was seen to veer across two lanes. It then hit a lamp post and ended up in a ditch by the side of the road.

Humberside Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash and ask that anyone with any information call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log number 364 of 18/09/19
