Cats love us just as much as our dogs.
It is usually thought that cats are known for their haughty and aloof personalities. But although cats don’t jump up and lick our faces it doesn’t mean that they don’t love us.
The research found that cats get just as attached to their owner’s as dogs do. They even found that they even get just as attached as babies do to their parents.
When people were asked to leave their pet alone in a room for two minutes. It was found that most of the cats and kittens wanted to be close to their owners on their return. Most of the cats meowed a lot more when their owner went away showing that they missed them.
They also found that more than a quarter of kittens got so upset when their owner left that when they came back the kitten became clingy and would sit in their owner’s lap or nudge their arm to be stroked.
