Large Cannabis Grow discovered in former Garage

The previous garage on Harold Street, has been raided by Humberside Police today.

Officers discovered hundreds of suspected cannabis plants at an address on Harold Street in Grimsby following reports of antisocial behaviour in the area shortly after 8.30pm yesterday, Sunday 6 October.

A scene guard remains in place whilst officers carry out the necessary investigations at the property.

Detective Inspector Kerry Bull said: “This is a great result, as there were approximately 500 plants inside the property which we have now seized, preventing them from being used in crime and antisocial behaviour.

“Whilst no arrests have been made at this time, an investigation has been launched to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 527 of 06/10/19 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
