By Shoppers can ditch their cars and shop ‘til they drop with free late night parking being introduced at Abbey Walk car park in Grimsby over the festive period.
The move will coincide with Grimsby’s Christmas lights switch-on and the start of late night shopping times at Freshney Place, with the shopping centre staying open until 8pm from Thursday 21 November.
Free parking will run from 6pm to 8pm at Abbey Walk Car Park in Grimsby on the following dates:

A North East Lincolnshire Council spokesperson said: “Our town centre is home to plenty of great shops offering something for everyone, and plenty of bargains.
“To support this community of retailers, we’re once again offering free, extra late-night parking this year so people can ditch their car and shop-til-they-drop.
“This is a great excuse to pop in to town and buy those early or last-minute presents.”
