£9.64 – £10.64 per hour
Production Team Leader – East Hull- £9.64ph+ 4/4 Day shifts- 12 Hour shifts
Our client a market leader within their field have fantastic opportunities due to an expansion within the business. These roles offer a permanent contract from day one and therefore presents stability for any potential worker. You will be working for a national company with excellent career prospects. Any candidates interested must come from a Food background and be fully flexible.
Daily duties of a production team leader:
- Monitor food safety and hygiene standards throughout the factory floor
- Use labour resources and the daily production plan effectively
- Safe start checks prior to each shift whilst setting up production lines
- Complete all reports at the end of each sift including down time, waste and quality defects
- Report unsafe activities
- Carry out PPE audits
- Assist with the implementation of new starters
- Communicate daily production plans to the team and any stock shortages
Ideal candidate for production team leader:
- Previous leadership experience is a must
- Must be from a food manufacturing background
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Good punctuation
- Conduct yourself in a professional and approachable manner
- Flexible approach to an ever changing environment
- Good computer literacy
- Must be flexible and adaptable
