By Picker/ Packer (Mon-Fri) – Furniture (Doncaster)

Do you have previous experience within a warehouse environment with strong knowledge of picking and packing? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Picker/ Packer to work out of our client’s state of the art facility with the latest technology based in Armthorpe on a temp to perm basis with an hourly rate of £8.67 per hour + guaranteed bonus during training with earning potential up to £11.18 per hour once fully trained.
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2.30pm (moving to weekly rotating shifts after 3 months to 6am-2.30pm Mon-Fri/ 2.30pm-1am Mon-Thu)
Due to rapid growth this is a key role for this large well-known retailer and will see you working within the furniture manufacturing team, picking parts, components and fabrics ready for sofas to be made. You will also assist in the packing team, stuffing cushions, putting plastic covers and cardboard on the sofas ready for them to be despatched.
It is essential you have previously worked in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment. You will have previously worked to targets in a picking role, be physically fit, with a positive attitude as full training and ongoing coaching will be provided for successful candidates.
