Who would steal off-road ambulance doors?

Vile thieves have damaged a vital Yorkshire Ambulance Service off-road emergency vehicle and stolen doors and other parts of it.

Police were called after it was discovered that the doors and other parts had been removed from the Land Rover overnight.

The vehicle had been parked at Beverley Ambulance Station, Driffield Road and police are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to get in touch.

Sergeant Andy Beadman said: “I can’t believe that someone would target an emergency vehicle in this way, putting it off the road and potentially putting lives at risk.

“If you have any information about who’s responsible, then please let us know so we can find them and put them before the courts.”

If you can help, please call our non-emergency 101 line.
