Doctor accused of exorcism appears in court.
Hossam Metwally is accused of administering a poison or noxious substance to his partner Kelly Wilson a former nurse in an exorcism. He is accused of causing actual bodily harm to his partner.
His partner was taken to the hospital in an unresponsive condition and suffered organ failure. After she was involved in an exorcism to get rid of evil spirits haunting her body. Hossam Metwally faces a possible four-week trial.
Hossam Metwally 59 a chronic pain specialist and anesthetist appeared at Grimsby Magistrates Court on Friday for a further case management hearing. and his £60,000 bail surety was continued.
He denies causing grievous bodily harm with intent and administering a poison or noxious substance with intent to injure her between July 2nd and July 5th. It is believed that the charges were not put to Metwally and it is now thought that there are eight charges with new ones due to be put to him on a future occasion.
