A 15-year-old girl has been arrested after a shocking attack outside school.
A kind stranger has started a fundraiser after a shocking video emerged of two girls who were subjected to a horrific attack. The assault happened on Friday in St Christopher’s Road as they walked home from school at Humberston Academy. Christopher’s Road Humberston.
Two 14-year-old girls were repeatedly punched in the face and kicked repeatedly as they lay on the ground. It is believed that the injuries could have been much worse if a motorist in a white car had not stopped to take the schoolgirls to safety. A man in a minibus stopped and shouted at the attackers and they then just wandered off.
Even after the girls got into the car the attackers kept kicking the car. Shocking video of the girls being attacked appeared on social media. Due to the shocking images on the video Grimsby Independent choose not to share it. It was the only day that one of the girls attacked walked home as most days she has a lift home from school.
Fundraising page set up.
Susan Jarvis from Humberston has set up a JustGiving appeal after she saw the sickening video. It is believed she does not know the girls but was so upset by what the girls went through she wanted to do something nice for them. She said the thought of the mental impact of the situation must be so hard not only to go through the assault but to have it all over social media.
She is hoping to raise as much as she can to maybe treat them to a gig or spa day. And hopes to help restore the faith in humanity and show that there are nice people in the world.
Humberside Police are investigating the alleged assault which occurred on November 22nd at 3.30 pm in Humberston. A 15-year-old girl has been arrested and released pending further inquiries. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has evidence they can share with them call on the non=emergency number 101 quoting reference 16/127784/19.
