Pensioner robbed and left badly bruised: man charged

A 19-year-old teenager has been charged with stealing a woman’s handbag during an incident in Hull at the weekend.

It was reported to have happened on Cottingham Road in Hull on Saturday 23 November around 7.30pm.

It was alleged that the lady was knocked over by two males on a scooter who stole her bag before riding off. The woman was badly bruised.

Adam Fenton, 19, of Terry Street in Hull has been charged with robbery and possessing a class B drug, namely cannabis, with intent to supply. He’s already appeared at court.

An 18-year-old youth and a 21-year-old man were also arrested in connection with this. They have been released under investigation.
