Wonderful community spirit.

A kind Cleethorpes community has come to the aid of an elderly gentleman in Montague Street. He has had a broken window in his house for the past six months after a roof tile was thrown through it.

Sadly he could not afford to fix it. He has not been able to get insurance as his flat has been flooded five times from the flat upstairs. His house is very cold because of the broken window and water comes in when it rains.

His neighbour heard about his problems and put an appeal out on social media asking for donations. Within minutes people started sending donations in and offering support to help fix the window for him.

Then Danny Wherrett and Richard Warne from Quick Fix Glass offered to supply a new window and fix it completely free of charge, The gentleman has been overwhelmed by the offer.
