Teenager arrested at a local school.

A teenage student from Tollbar Academy has been arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply. It is believed that the boy was in possession of the horse tranquiliser ketamine.

It is thought that the boy is in year 11 at the academy. Humberside Police said the boy has been bailed while their inquiries continue.

Tollbar Academy is known for its tough stance on drugs.  The school has a Zero tolerance policy towards drugs and will notify the police if any student is found with them. and will permanently exclude. any student caught with them, Concern is growing about County line drug-dealing gangs in which organised gangs have been exploiting children to sell drugs for them. There are reports that dealers have been encouraging children to get themselves excluded from school in order for them to deal more drugs.

Being in possession of the drug could lead to a five-year prison sentence or an unlimited fine or both, someone found supplying the drug can receive up to 14 years in prison.
