Massive Tory win!

Boris Johnson has said he will work “night and day” to repay the trust of voters after he led the Conservatives to an “historic” election victory.

With just two seats left to declare, the Tories have a majority of 76.
Speaking in London, the PM said it was a mandate to take the UK out of the EU next month “no ifs, no buts”.

He said that his “stonking” win has given him a “powerful mandate to get Brexit done” as humiliated Jeremy Corbyn vowed to quit.

Labour has suffered one of its worst general election results in living memory with dozens of seats that the party had held on to for decades falling to the Conservatives. On Friday morning the party will begin its analysis of why this happened, with the debate likely to affect how Labour bounces back on the road to the next national vote.
