Man died twice after being viciously stabbed.

A stabbing victim is lucky to be alive after being viciously stabbed in the street. Phoenix Alonso 36 has had his life ruined and has been left with serious health problems

Phoenix Alonso was stabbed in the abdomen area by Stuart Black during a confrontation in Cleethorpes town. Mr. Alonso is believed to have lost four and a half pints of blood and had to have half his bowel removed.

He is thought to have died at the scene and again at the hospital.  His partner has now had to act as his carer. It is believed that he was trying to be a peacemaker between Black and another man he was arguing with.

Mr. Alonso struggles to walk, is taking anti-depressants also inhalers to help with breathing and has lost his self-confidence. He also cannot work at all. He is scared to go out and is very apprehensive of people.

Stuart Black 19 of Manchester Street, Cleethorpes admitted wounding Mr. Alonso on May 12th with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Stuart Black also admitted perverting the course of justice by sending two letters to try to nobble potential witnesses.

Stuart Black was sentenced at Grimsby Crown Court to be locked up for nine years and has been sent to a young offenders institution. Black will be on an extended licence for a year after his release from custody.
