Man charged with 11 separate offences including domestic assaults

A 24-year-old man has been charged with a string of offences in North East Lincolnshire including domestic related assaults, attempted burglary, theft and assaulting a police officer.

Connor Barker of no fixed abode was arrested on Saturday and charged yesterday Sunday 29 December with the offences.

He faces charges of two counts of assault on the same victim in Grimsby on 10 and 24 December and causing actual bodily harm to that victim in Grimsby on 28 December.

He was charged with a number of other offences in Grimsby on the 28 December including a further count of assault, assaulting a police officer and criminal damage to a police van, theft of 12 jars of coffee, and criminal damage to a property.

Connor Barker was also charged with attempted burglary at a property on Daubney Street in Cleethorpes on Boxing Day and refusing to provide a drugs samples while in custody.

The eleventh charge was for criminal damage to a mobile phone on Christmas Eve.

He is due to appear before Grimsby Magistrates Court this morning.
