Cyclists warn of barbed wire strung across pathway.

On Sunday a cyclist narrowly missed serious injury after riding into barbed wire struck across a pathway. The woman was cycling towards Bradley Lakes with her husband.

When the couple got part of the way down an access road the woman rode into a piece of barbed wire strung between two hedges across a pathway. It is believed she caught her pedals round it but managed to avoid serious injury.

It is believed that the wire was 18inches off the ground and was clearly placed intentionally. The wire could have caused serious injury to anyone passing the route including children, dogs, and horses.

The couple are warning people to remain vigilant when walking or cycling in Grimsby and Cleethorpeses[ecially round Bradley Lakes.
