Altercation outside Grimsby chip shop leaves man in hospital.
Humberside police are looking for witnesses who have information about an incident that happened outside a chip shop in Brighowgate yesterday afternoon around 3.30 pm.
There was an incident inside the fish shop and a man had been asked to leave. After he left it was reported that he got into an argument with another man who allegedly pushed him to the ground.
Officers attended and took the man to the hospital for treatment to head injuries. Police want any people who have information to come forward. Also, they want the man who allegedly pushed the injured man to contact them. He has been described as white, about 25, around 6ft 2in tall and slim. He was wearing a hi-vis jacket and dark coloured hat. He was with a woman who has been described as 5ft 5in tall slim with dark shoulder-length hair. she was wearing a dark jacket.
