Man high on cocaine attacked two people.
A man attacked two people on the same night in two separate incidents while high on cocaine.
The incidents took place in the former crowded Bar Babylon in Cleethorpes.
One of the men he punched had injuries to his cheekbone that were very painful and two puncture wounds below his eye.
The victim suffered blurred vision and there was concern that he was going to lose part of the sight of his eye.
He then hurled a glass which was intended for someone else and the other victim was injured. He suffered a 1cm cut to his eye and has been left with a scar.
It is understood that both the victims have had a difficult time dealing with this.
Daniel Simpson 29 admitted two offences of wounding on May 20th, 2017. It is believed that Simpson was given a suspended prison sentence in 2010 for affray and in 2011 for assault causing actual bodily harm both of which involved group attacks.
He avoided prison again and was given a nine-month suspended sentence and 120hours unpaid work. Simpson from Bradford was also ordered to pay £2,000 compensation to the first victim and £1,000 to the second at Grimsby Crown Court.
