Update on Cleethorpes Leisure Centre pool closure.

North East Lincolnshire Council have issued an update on when the pool at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre could open. But it is not good news for the half term.
The pool has been closed since November when glass got into the pool during work to replace windows.

Leisure Centre bosses decided to carry out other works while the pool was drained this extended the closure while a contractor was found to carry out the work.

During the last update it was suggested that the pool would reopen at the end of this month. It has now been announced that the work has not even started and it will take four weeks.

It is believed that a contractor has now been found and the work will start on Monday January 27th. If the work takes a full four weeks it will not be finished in time for the the half term which begins on February 17th.
