Man’s body undiscovered for seven weeks.

Humberside Police found a man’s body after reports of people being concerned for the safety of a man. They were called to a flat in Thorgam Court in the West Marsh and sadly found a man’s body.

He had laid undiscovered for seven weeks it is believed that he passed away on December 1st. The body was discovered on Tuesday. The man has been named locally as Lee Rudd 39 who lived in the ground floor flat for a number of years.

Following the discovery, there was a large police presence at the scene including crime scene investigation. Lee’s death is not being treated as suspicious. It is thought that he stayed at his girlfriend’s house a lot so nearby residents did not think there was anything out of the ordinary when they hadn’t seen him in a while.
