Police hunt knifeman after stabbing.
Police are hunting a knifeman after another man was stabbed in the Wheatsheaf pub car park at 8 pm Thursday. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening it is believed he was taken to hospital after suffering arm injuries.
The suspect has been described as wearing joggers, a top and woolly hat and he was seen riding a bike. A forensic examination was made at the scene. It is not believed that it was to do with anything in the pub.
If anyone has any information or was driving in the area at the time and has a dash-cam they are asked to get in touch with the police on non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
