By A man has been shot dead by officers in a “terrorist-related” incident in London.
Armed police have shot dead a suspected terrorist feared to be wearing a suicide vest after at least two people were stabbed during a machete rampage on a busy south London high street – three months after two were killed in London Bridge horror.
Gun shots were heard just after 2pm Sunday.
Police later said the scene had been “fully contained”.
Ambulance Service treated a number of people at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police said it was awaiting updates on the condition of those injured.
A large police cordon stretches from Streatham Hill station and there is a heavy police presence; helicopters are overhead.
