Racist thug jailed.

Liam James 26 shouted racial abuse at the owners of a chip shop in Immingham. He is believed to have shouted This is England what are you doing here? and to go home to your own country. He also threatened the chip shop owner with a knuckle duster.

James admitted at Grimsby Crown Court to racially aggravated violence and possession of the knuckle duster in a public place. He is believed to have been told by the judge that it was appalling violence. He made fearsome threats with a fearsome weapon. Which was sustained and caused substantial distress.

Liam James had 141 previous convictions and had been given plenty of chances having been given conditional discharges, suspended sentences, and community orders. But now his chances have run out as he was jailed for two years for the possession of the knuckle duster and 12 months for the racially aggravated violence.
