 Arsonist drug dealer leaves children terrified.

Two young children were left terrified when they woke up to discover a car set alight near their home. The arsonist had set fire to the car over a long-running grudge.

It was revealed later that the arsonist was a notorious weapon-obsessed drug dealer. who had 116 previous convictions including firearm and burglary offences. Shane Nutall 46 formerly of Battery Street Immingham was found with banned Pava spray and stashes of cocaine and cannabis at his home.

Nuttall had poured a bottle of petrol over a BMW’s bonnet before setting it alight. While trying to hide his identity under an umbrella. He had fallen out with the BMW owner previously.  The BMW owner claimed that Nuttall had threatened him with a flick knife in the past. There was a high degree of planning and he had used petrol.

Shane Nuttall admitted two arson offences on June 30th. He also admitted possessing Pava spray when prohibited, possessing cocaine and amphetamine with intent to supply and producing cannabis.

Nuttall was jailed at Grimsby Crown Court for seven years and was given an indefinite restraining order.
