Do you have plans to invest in energy saving technology such as solar PV, LED lights, a new boiler or other heating solutions? With the amount of different information on the market it can be very confusing to make the right decision for your business.

Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire, a programme led by North East Lincolnshire council, is helping small to medium business located in the Greater Lincolnshire area invest in energy efficient measures to help save them money.

This February businesses will have the chance to get involved in an energy saving workshop that will be led by world renowned leading experts in sustainable energy and resource efficiency.

The workshop will cover a wide range of topics from insulation, LED lights, solar PV, heating solutions and much more. The day will provide free unbiased advice and one to one support to help find the right solution for your business.

Eligible businesses can also claim a grant to help them invest in energy saving products. Two grant options are available. A £500 voucher that can be claimed after 12 hours of engagement is achieved, or for large energy saving projects a grant of 38% to help cover the total project cost.

Also, businesses can benefit from a free onsite audit and energy report to help identify areas in where the business can save the most money and energy.

Sam Goodwin, SME Funding and Distribution Manager for Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire said that:
