Man arrested on A180 after fleeing crash.

A man crashed his car into a ditch on the A180 when fleeing the scene of another collision on the A1173. He was arrested by Humberside Police.

It is suspected that the man was involved in a collision on the A1173 between the Stallingborough Industrial Estate and the A180.

The car failed to stop at the scene of the collision. And it drove onto the A180 where it ended up in a ditch.

There followed a build up of traffic as a lane was closed. Several Police cars were at the scene at around 8am this morning.

It is believed that a man has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs. The man is in custody whilst enquires continue.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call on 101 quoting Log 90 19/02/20.
